DEVRAI.....A More than Film Experience………

It’s Sunday and again a movie time!
It was hard to choose between Karam and Devrai. Finally we (me and Chetan) decided to go for Devrai at Fame Malad. We thought it will not that difficult to get a marathi movie ticket but the success of Shwas proved us wrong and luckily we were managed to get the first row tickets. We were already prepared for the neck exercise we were about to undergo for next 3 hours. While waiting for the bore ads to get over suddenly we saw the Devrai team standing in front of us. It included the directors Sumitra Bhave and Sunil Sukhatankar who were invited for addressing the viewers. It was great talking to them. They also declared that Sonali and Atul Kulkarni will be there at the end of the screening.
The movie was a good one. The performance by Atul and Sonali is remarkable….Hats off to both of them…….As soon as the movie ended we witnessed Atul and Sonali who came on stage and we were lucky to see them standing just in front of us. They answered many audience questions and I rushed to them to take their autograph before they departed.
More than just a film experience and that too at the rate of TAX FREE!!

A Memorable Party…

Calendar was already marked for the TCS MASQUERADE DANCE PARTY scheduled on Saturday evening in great atmosphere of Banyan Park.I reached there a bit early and that gave me time to mix up with the blind children from Victoria Memorial School who were going to perform in the party.Though their vision made them different than others I couldn’t find even a trace of this while speaking to them. It seems they learned the art of fighting against all odds and thattoo at this young age. There were stalls around which included items made by these children and also TCS trekkers SAHYADRI CALLING stall. This stall exhibited various nature photos, which were really appealing. The show began with MALAKHAMB by the students of Victoria School. The show was a great one and everyone was just stunned with the marvelous performance by these young ones. Then come the sanctuary and Trek Club’s slide show which not only aware everyone about the nature but also appealed everyone to come out of their world to explore the beauty of the nature. Then the real DANCE PARTY began and as theme was MASQUERADE DANCE the dance floor got filled with people wearing wild masques exhibiting their wildness. As the great music was pouring I couldn’t stop my feet moving still the party called off for late night dinner.
